By Royal Appointment: Stealing Kate Middleton’s Look! {PR Collaboration}

I'm no fashion blogger but I do love getting some tips on looking great. I am excited to have this guest post today to give you some tips on looking great during pregnancy. There are so many styles that show off a baby bump and Kate Middleton has really nailed dressing well during pregnancy. Even if you are not planning on having any more bubs, you can still appreciate Kate's style and grace.

It feels as though the whole world is holding its breath waiting for Kate Middleton to give birth, an event which should be happening any day now! While we’re now all excited to see the future heir to the British Empire’s throne, I’ve been thinking about Kate’s maternity style.

She’s managed to find the balance between grace and style during her pregnancy, something which we’ve only seen before with Princess Diana. Yesterday I was reading a blog about Royal maternity style on show and I was taken back to Diana’s impeccable style.

It seems as though the crown for style has been picked up by Kate, which is just as well as she is to be the mother of the future king or queen! If you’ve admired Kate’s look as much as I have over the past nine months, you’ll be glad to know I’ve found the perfect outfit!

The Necklace

Available to buy from Etsy, this necklace would be a treasured piece of jewellery which you’d be able to hand down to your own children. Think of it as a future heirloom!

The necklace has a gorgeous, timeless shape whilst remaining modern thanks to the additional gold pendant. Very Kate!

The Dress

Lace has been Kate’s calling card since day one, and the detailing on this Amber Lace maternity dress from Tiffany Rose – which I found after seeing the blog post - is all down to the stunning lace design. Managing to find a balance between demure and sexy, this is perfect for regal occasions.

The neckline would hold the necklace beautifully, while the midnight blue colour would set off the jewel in the centre of the accessory. Meanwhile the cinched in waist will show off your body to its very best!

The Shoes

This high heeled court from Darcy Seashell on Style Tread couldn’t be more Kate. Understated but classic, it will lift your calves to a flattering height while ensuring the attention stays on the dress and you!

They’re really comfortable and can be worn with pretty much any outfit.

Trying to be Trendy {My Week According to Instagram}

I have been so quiet on Instagram lately, but a recent set of style dares from Fox In Flats has me all inspired again.

DAREcember as it is called, has a dare for each day of December. So far I have only missed one (I didn't own any kind of broach) but I have been having so much fun with it and trying things that I have never tried before (like boots with a summer dress, and a necklace stack).

It is not too late to join in. Just post your pics to instagram, facebook or twitter with the hashtag #DAREcember.

Hot Pink Lipstick, Denim, Scarf, On My Head (Headband), Boots, Necklace stack

Other things I have been up to include: getting given three blocks of chocolate (which is great as I decided to give up buying chips and chocolate for charity), I got some feet in my face while I was lying down and we made some Christmas trees (despite my lack of Christmas spirit).

Mox Shoes {The Things I Love}

When I love a product I feel the need to tell everyone I know about how fantastic it is. That is exactly why I want to share with you the shoes that I am totally in love with at the moment.  If you haven’t come across Mox shoes yet, then you are missing out on something amazing.

I first discovered Mox shoes when Naomi from Seven Cherubs posted a picture of herself wearing them. Then, a few days later I noticed that a friend had commented on the Moxonline facebook page. My friend posted that she had bought nine pairs so far. After seeing that two people I trusted loved them I just had to have a pair.

I have always been a Havaiana thong wearer (and still love them), but it was time for a change. Mox shoes are made of a similar rubber-like material to the Havaiana’s, which makes them really soft and comfortable. I decided to buy a black (liquorice) pair and was excited when they arrived in record time (with FREE delivery). It is a bit scary buying shoes online but the sizing guide is really clear and mine fit perfectly as soon as I put them on my feet. I also found that after a day or so they mold to your feet and get even more comfortable.

I have just been on a holiday which involved swimming, shopping, picnicking and eating out and I wore my Mox shoes the entire time. Apart from the fact that they are super comfy they are also stylish enough that you can wear them out for dinner. I even tested them on a long walk and I had no blisters or any kind of rubbing at all. I love these shoes so much that I keep making my friends try them on, just so they know how comfy they are.

My second pair in chocolate

If you are looking for a great present for a friend or family member this Christmas, I would highly recommend Mox. Just make sure you get a pair for yourself otherwise you will end up with shoe envy.

I loved my Mox shoes so much that I approached them about writing this post. I was not paid, however I did receive a pair of shoes (now I just need to buy them in Latte, Sherbet, Olive & Blueberry and I will have them in every colour).

Guest Post: Winter Fashions for a Growing Bump

When I was asked whether I would like a guest post for on maternity wear from ASOS  I was excited as I had heard great things about their maternity range. Sadly for me,  I didn't know about them while I was pregnant. If you are pregnant, or planning to have a baby it is worth checking out. They have free delivery! {Lisa}

Just because you’re pregnant doesn’t mean you have to hide away in baggy jumpers and forget all about your stylish pre-pregnancy self. Also for most of your pregnancy many of you will still have to hold down job and work usual hours, so you can’t become lazy with dressing.
So sit back and take a look at some great maternity wear from ASOS for some style inspiration for work, rest and play pregnancy outfits.

For time spent in the office, important meetings and greetings it is important to still look smart and sophisticated so a simple yet effective pencil skirt is a great option. A high waisted skirt in stretch jersey will grow with your bump keeping you comfortable and stylish in one. This look can be easily completed with a cute blouse, tights and heels or flat loafers depending on how comfortable you are in them.

For a perfect rest outfit you need something that is comfortable above anything else. Jeggings are a great solution for this as they are smart enough for a spot of shopping, taking the rest of the brood on the school run and rare days of kicking back and relaxing. An oversized top in a cute print and trainers will finish the look effortlessly.

Chances are you won’t get much of a chance to “play” whilst pregnant so may only lash out on one going out frock so make sure it will suit any occasion that may arise in the next nine months. This midi length coral dress with lace detailing will be well suited for a romantic dinner, a night out with friends, a wedding, pretty much anything!

So next time you are in need of some maternity wear, don’t be tempted to throw all style rules out the window, there are some great options to choose from to make your pregnancy a totally stylish experience.

Did you try to stay stylish when you were pregnant? What is your best pregnancy style tip?
